We are an investment firm that specializes in Commercial Multifamily properties located in non energy markets across the south. The investments are structured through a syndication model. This means we bring on qualified investors as equity investors in the properties we acquire. No need to worry about being a landlord; our firm manages the asset through vetted property management companies.
Our firm works with brokers across the south to locate and put under contract properties that fit our strategy. We then perform due diligence on the physical property and financials to ensure the property is the right fit. A team of property management companies , lawyers, brokers, insurance agents, accountants, and mortgage brokers work along side us to bring the property under our management.
THE MISSION
Trent Bussey, MBA received his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Louisiana State University & his MBA from the University of Louisiana – Lafayette. He possesses over 15 years of experience as an executive financial and operational leader with expertise in Mergers and Acquisitions, Real Estate, Underwriting and Healthcare. He served as an Officer in the US Navy and as a Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer in the private sector. Throughout his career, he has overseen the construction and renovation of over 20MM of residential and commercial real estate.
Trent’s entrepreneurial spirit, passion for real estate and mission to help others build wealth inspired him to start TLB Strategic Investments. In his spare time, when he isn’t pursuing real estate ventures, Trent enjoys spending time with his wife and five kids, playing golf and indulging in LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints Football.
